The Application of Cash Register Paper in Bank
Thermal paper is also known as thermal facsimile paper, thermal recording paper, thermal copy paper. In Taiwan, it is called thermal carbon paper. Thermal paper is a kind of processing paper. Its manufacturing principle: coat a layer of "heat sensitive paint" (thermochromic layer) on high quality original paper. Although there are more than a dozen chemicals used in the discoloration layer, there are at least the following compounds: colorless dyes which have a wide variety. Fluorescent compounds are commonly used. The colorant is about less than 20%. Bisphenol and p-hydroxybenzoic acid are commonly used. The sensitizer is about less than 10%, which containing benzene sulfonic acid amide compounds; Fillings are about less than 50%. Calcium carbonate (microparticles) is commonly used. The adhesive is about less than 10%, such as polyvinyl acetate; Stabilizers such as diphenyl phthalate, lubricants, etc. So, the technical difficulty is big and the technical requirement is high.
Thermal paper printers are much faster than other types of printers. So, it reduces the waiting time in deposits or queues and improves the efficiency of the bank's automatic deposit and withdrawal machine. The images quality produced on thermal paper is higher than that in other types of printing. It can help users to focus on their balance of payments by thermal printing and separating deposit and withdrawal records.
