Tools/materials
The POS machine
Thermal paper tube
Methods/steps
The POS machine uses heat-sensitive paper, so it is necessary to prepare the POS machine and heat sensitive paper first.
Open the lid of the machine's paper bin.
Put the tube in the slot and face up.
Pull the paper out a bit.
Close the lid of the paper bin, as shown in the figure.
Paper loading has been finished, but some people are not sure whether the tube is installed correctly, so it is necessary to check. The method is quite simple which only needs to scratch the front side of the paper by using your fingernails. If black marks can be made, it proves that the paper is correctly installed. Otherwise, it proves that the paper is installed reversely.
The POS machine paper is also called ATM printer paper, generally made by thermal paper, offset paper and carbonless paper, and general volume. It is relatively simple if the paper has no printing and many manufacturers can produce it. But paper like ATM vouchers and used by the bank's ATM machine all belong to ATM printer paper.
Scope of use:
It is usually used in the ATM machines of the bank and cash registers of the supermarket.
Composition:
ATM printer paper is usually composed of core tube, paper and sealing label. The paper is stored in volume. Some products have no core tube, and have single layer and multi-layer. Generally using carbonless base paper, thermal paper and offset paper. The common specifications are 44 * ¢60 mm (width * outer diameter), 57 * ¢¢70 mm, 70 * 70 mm, 70 * 80 mm ¢, etc.
Art paper is printed with carbon tape and can be stored for a long time. Heat-sensitive paper can be printed without carbon tape, but it can not be preserved for a long time. And there is a kind of constant effect heat-sensitive paper which can be preserved for two years, but it is more expensive.
